Students’ Favorite Essay Types

It is a common knowledge that we like to do the things that we can do. Someone might like sports, since he/she is good at sports. It can be told about everything in our life.

When talking about academic study, about essay types in particular, we can divide all essay types into the students’ favorite ones and the essay types that students hate writing because of their inability to write them.

According to statistical data, students hate writing descriptive essays, classification essays and argumentative essays. It is rather difficult for them to make priorities of what things to include into description and which ones are better to take away while writing descriptive essays; it is no less difficult to classify something according to a single principle while making classification essays; it is also very difficult to search for the most essential arguments for writing argumentative essays.

The students’ favorite essay types are: opinion essay, for and against essay and personal narrative essays.

•    Opinion essays are easy to write, since a writer simply states his/her personal opinion on a certain problem;
•    For and against essays are not challenging since students like arguing. In fact, nearly everyone likes to participate in arguing for having an opportunity to convince someone in accuracy of his/her personal assertions. This opportunity is given to for and against essay writers, that is why students like it;
•    Personal narrative is the simplest paper to write. You do not have to care much about the formal language, since you just tell about your personal experience.

Inspite of having both favorite and odious essay types, students have to accomplish them.
