Many Different Essays

As you might know, students of all educational establishments write essays. Essay is a popular type of academic paper and teachers use every possible chance to ask students to write essays on various themes. So, if this type of academic paper is so popular, wide-spread and widely used, it is normal that there are several essay types.
First of all, it is necessary to distinguish school essays, admission essays, college essays, and university essays.
This division is based on the place of studies. It is understandable that school essays are written at schools, college essays and university essays are written at colleges and universities respectively. As for admission essays, they are written after high school graduation as a part of exams for entering college or university.
The next classification of essay types is based on the manner of writing. We can distinguish the following essay types: analytical essay which represents the analysis of certain thing, event of phenomenon; reflective essay should contain personal reflection about the subject of the essay; compare-contrast essay is a description of the essay subject by means of such approaches as comparison and contrast; descriptive essay is an essay where it is necessary to create a picture by means of words; narrative essay is written is a form of narration; opinion essay represents the expression opinions concerning the theme of the essay; evaluation essay means that the text of this essay is an evaluation of the essay subject; classification essay – contains classification of certain ting of phenomenon;
It is also possible to distinguish essay types according to disciplines on which they are written, Students may write philosophy essay, physics essay, psychology essay, literature essay etc.
